Today, we’re highlighting one of our newest team members, who has quickly become an integral part of our organization, Dennis Thöner. As the Key Account Manager for our customers in Germany and several other European clients, Dennis’ journey is a testament to the dynamic and transformative environment at Natara.

A Dynamic Role with Varied Responsibilities

“I am the Key Account Manager for customers in Germany and a few other customers within Europe. There is no typical day at the moment. My week is very colorful,” Dennis explained. “On the one hand, I have the operational day-to-day business with price inquiries from customers, on the other hand, I have the strategic planning of my customers combined with customer visits, pre- and post-processing, creating a customer master file, ADP plan and where I want to develop my customers. In addition, I try to network further within the company and contribute my expertise to certain topics such as service, sales excellence and global sales meetings, thus raising the bar.”

Attracted by Internationality and Transformation

Having joined Natara just two months ago, Dennis was drawn to Natara for its international presence and the exciting phase of transformation it is undergoing. “I have been working at Natara for 2 months now and what attracted me was both the internationality and the status of the transformation,” he shared. “This combination of global reach and a transformative agenda presented an irresistible opportunity to make a significant impact.”

Enjoying the Process of Professionalization

What stands out most for Dennis is the opportunity to professionalise the company by developing structures and processes — something he’s not only an expert in, but loves doing. “This process of laying down foundational structures and enhancing operational efficiency is both challenging and rewarding,” Dennis explained. “You don’t always get the chance to build things from the ground up, so it’s a great opportunity to help shape the future of Natara.”

Memorable Projects: Enhancing Efficiency with a Master File

Among the projects Dennis has worked on so far, creating a master file for customer information, streamlining operations and enhancing customer understanding is most memorable. “I am currently working on creating a master file where I have the most important facts per customer in one file instead of having to search for the data in several files and systems each time,” Dennis explained. “This will help me to understand my customers and their portfolio even better and will save me a huge amount of time in the future.”

What Sets Natara Apart for Dennis

Dennis told us that what sets Natara apart in the industry is its impressive product portfolio. “I would say Natara has a very broad product portfolio and can even produce products that are otherwise very costly and complex to manufacture. We have excellent quality, which is highly valued in the market.”

A Team That Works Together

Dennis told us that Natara’s corporate culture feels well-rounded. “We are positioned well when it comes to soft factors such as people and skills. The people who work at Natara are well trained, open to new topics and look forward to improvement,” Dennis said. “The company is also focused on hard factors like systems, structures, and strategy, which are essential for future success.”

Challenges Are Opportunities

Challenges are inevitable, especially in a transformative environment. But as Dennis explained, they also become opportunities. “Above all, the biggest challenge so far is that we’re still building out the systems. But, the good thing is that we’re all working on this together, and we’re all making our own contributions to making things better. The fact that Natara is open to new ideas is really going to propel this forward.”
