Warehouse Operative

Natara Global is looking to hire a Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for the maintenance of stock accuracy and inventory levels of incoming and stored materials, including IBC’s, drums and packaging.

Key Responsibilities

To ensure designated areas are maintained in a clean and safe working condition
To ensure that all prescribed safety clothing and equipment is used correctly and is maintained in a clean condition and good working order
To report all incidents and unsafe conditions in to the Supervisor and contribute to investigations and follow-up actions as necessary
To ensure that quality standards as defined by the company standard are adhered to and championed as necessary
Receipt of incoming goods; operating a Fork Lift Truck/Reach truck
To complete the Booking and labeling of packaging materials
To complete the transfers of goods to the correct store location
To complete the sampling of raw materials/traded products
To Book in raw materials onto the computer system (Oracle)
To complete the weekly stock check of raw materials
Ensure the production facilities are kept clear of unused raw materials and are relocated for stock accuracy
Work flexibly within the above guidelines and carry out any other duties as may be required by the supervisor/manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

Current Valid Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
Experience of working in a manufacturing/chemical environment is desirable, as well as warehouse, logistics and distribution knowledge
An understanding of the legislative requirements of working with dangerous goods/hazardous chemicals would be advantageous

Schedule

24/7 shift pattern, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
